Come out to the Highlands for the Penn Club of Seattle's annual Alumni Picnic, where culinary prowess and the famous Quaker welcome collide. Trust us -- if you don’t leave with a new friend and a satisfied sweet tooth, you probably got lost on the way through the towering trees of the Highlands - often called “one of the best-kept secrets in Seattle.” We’ll be waiting for you inside the pool area, where you can soak up the last summer rays on the lawn, enjoy a dip in the heated pool, and meet dozens of local alumni from up and down the Puget Sound. We’ll provide the burgers and drinks -- you bring sides and desserts. Friends and family are welcome.
The Penn Club will have hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, and non-alcoholic beverages waiting for you. Alumni are encouraged to bring side dishes (last names beginning A-M) and desserts (last names beginning N-Z).
The address listed is the main gate of the Highlands. From there, follow the signs to the clubhouse! Carpool requests/offers can be coordinated on the Penn Club of Seattle event page.
