Stanford Alumni Club of Seattle has invited Wharton and SBSA alumni to join them for an eye-opening discussion about the legal cannabis business in Washington.

Their panel of experts will discuss the industry and its likely future.

  • Roger Goodman, a Washington State Legislator, attorney, and long-time proponent of marijuana legalization, will chair the panel.
  • Dan Devlin, co-founder and Executive at Db3, the first licensed edibles producer in Washington, and a successful family-owned company. Dan is a Harvard MBA.
  • Michael McNutt, part-owner of Farmwest One, a cannabis grow operation in Omak, WA.
  • Oscar Velasco-Schmitz, owner of Dockside Cannabis, a successful group of stores (currently two, soon to be three). Oscar was a major medical marijuana retailer before I-502, and brings the long historical view of marijuana retailing.

When: Wednesday, October 25th. Doors open at 6:30 PM for drinks and appetizers, and panel begins at 7:00 PM.

Where: Dorsey & Whitney LLP, 701 5th Ave #6100 (Columbia Tower), Seattle 98104.

Parking: Available at your expense in basement garage (expensive), other nearby lots, and on the street.

Price: $15 includes drinks and appetizers. Sorry, no cannabis treats!

Registration is required and can be completed at Stanford GSB Puget Sound's event page.
