A physician, clinical informatics leader, and former health-system executive, Dr. Han will offer an inside look at how clinical AI is developed, evaluated, and deployed across complex healthcare environments and how it may impact the future of healthcare.
Everyone knows healthcare is under strain. Patients face rising costs and limited access, while physicians spend an increasing share of their time navigating documentation, orders, prior authorizations, and other administrative work. Ambient AI is transforming natural patient conversations into clinical documentation and supporting other administrative workflows, these tools promise to return time and attention to clinicians. But their rapid adoption also raises important questions: How accurate and safe are they? What does responsible human oversight look like? And will AI simply make today’s inefficient processes faster, or allow healthcare leaders to rethink them entirely?
Dr. Han was previously the Chief Medical Information Officer and Vice President at Multicare Health Systems. He received his A.B. with Honors in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Brown University, his MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Michigan.
