Books are wonderful, but we don't always have the time to read an entire book. With Ideas Club, rather than read and discuss a book, we watch or listen to a talk and discuss the talk. The idea is a lightweight way to learn and discuss great ideas. Talks are viewed before the meeting and we'll come together to discuss insights and thoughts around the talk.
Meetings are 1hr and will split the time with networking and talk discussion. Sign up early as attendance will be limited in order to optimize group participation.
For our next meeting, we'll discuss the topic of humor and its role in leadership. We'll discuss one of the most popular TED talks of 2022 - "Why great leaders take humor seriously." If you'd like to go deeper, feel free to follow up with Prof Maurice Schweitzer's webinar on humor and power.
